It was time to let a lower tier sorority place so that the Greek system will look good. Like affirmative action but for Greek life.

Is affirmative action for “lower” sororities really a thing? No one seems to mind when KD wins Derby Days every year.

KD has to win. Their parents donate lots of money and derby days is the most prestigious of competitions. Since charity bowl is a good one to win, the powers that be thought it was time for a new group to win it. Have to do these things occasionally to keep appearances up.

“lower” sororities like ADPI, Pi Phi, and ZTA can win anything and some butt hurt girl in another sorority is going to undermine their win and their effort
