no contact

Hi Sara. Not sure why you’re getting the rude responses. I’m a recent alum so can only answer as it relates to my time at MSU. The no contact period begins the day of MSU’s May graduation and lasts until Bid Day in August. The type of contact between a PNM and current sorority members seems to vary. If there is ongoing contact between non related PNMs and sorority members the sorority member is the one who would be “in trouble” and possibly put her sorority in jeopardy of being reprimanded by Panhellenic. If a PNM ignores the rule and openly hangs out with a member or members of XYZ during the summer, she shouldn’t be surprised when sorority ABC and EFG cut her early during recruitment.
