The grassy knoll at the front of sorority row (to the right of DG where people park for football games) is going to be a Phi Mu house. I'm less than thrilled about this because I think that space is nice to have for looks and extra parking, and it's not really big enough for an entire house. It think they just didn't want to not be seen from the street anymore. So they're moving there, Pi Delt is taking their house and another fraternity is taking Phi Delts house. There are lots on the back side of DDD-Pi Phi for more houses, ADPi is building back there currently and Kappa will probably follow suite. Thats where Phi Mu could have gone.

Personally thrilled to have phi mu as neighbors. The land has always been for sale and it was only a matter of time before someone bought it. Its actually more in the road than the grassy area.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Phi Mu building a new house beside DG, although I have heard that DG is not too happy about it. Chi O will also be adding on to their house.

phi mu and Chi o will both make improvements this year. Chi o with an addition And phi mu with a new house. Congratulations and excited they will be my neighbor!

So, Phi Mu/Greek Life is okay with Phi Delt talking over Phi Mu and using it as a Frat House? I would be appalled if I was a Phi Mu alum. Have you seen what the Phi Delt house looks like on weekends!?! Seems better for Kappa or ADP to take over Phi Mu.

And I agree with that being a weird spot for the new Phi Mu house as that lot doesn't seem to be that big, if I remember correctly.. and right off the highway.. talk about loud traffic.

Oh, and why is ADPi building if their old house is by DDD. Seems like it would be cheaper to remodel than to build next door.

There is a frat house right next door to phi mu house and across the street. Why would you bash phi delt like that? Personally soooo happy they will be 2 doors away from us!!!
No views are ruined, so be happy for them!

I'm in DG and I haven't even heard of this housing change, much less that DG is upset about it? I heard some people were moving around but didn't realize it was official. I think its great, I'd love to see the new houses! Just a friendly reminder to not speak for others or negatively about others this close to recruitment, or ever really! Im happy to have some new neighbors!

Like a lot of Phi Mu's are really happy for Phi Mu. New houses are awesome, when you're classy about it. Chi O is getting a ton of improvements but I haven't seen them jumping over everyone about it!

Exactly what is jumping over everyone? We're talking about building a house.
