by: DTWhat makes these Mississippi ( mainly MS but a few OOS ) girls think they are too good for Pi Phi, Phi Mu, ADPi, Zeta and Pi Phi? They only think DG, Chi O and DG are worthy of them. It is so sad. All the sororities here are great. So sad that girls are choosing to miss the opportunity to be greek just because they have a false impression of themselves and five of the sororities on campus. Just because your momma or someone from home said something negative, it doesn’t make it correct. You are not too good for any group. With 275 - 300 girls in a group, you will find your place and enjoy your sorority experience, if only you will give it a chance.

I’m not sure if this is an attempt to make those sororities look bad through a passive-aggressive way but Phi Mu was very selective and had to release many girls that had them in their cards. I feel sure the others did, too. That is how Rush works. It’s a hard process. It’s gut wrenching. But it’s over and I think they all did great!!

Speaking as an out of state gurl from an area where school was more selective: I though my resume meant more than my hphone me town and I was more of an asset to sororities with higher gaps and philanthropic activities. I am happy where I ended but recruitment was a difficult process
