snap bids

I think COB is a thing, i’m not sure about snap bidding! anyone else know??

Snap bids are rare and hard to get, and they are only offered by houses that don't make quota at bid matching. Honestly any house that dropped you is not going to turn around and offer you a snap bid; they go to girls who dropped a house but are still wanted by that house so they can make quota. So a girl who dropped out of recruitment before pref with houses still on her card could get a snap from one of those houses if they didn't make quota and still wanted her, or a girl who didn't rank a house at pref (suicided) and didn't get a bid could get a snap from the house she left off her card. COB can start the day after bid day for houses that still didn't make quota or that did but are under total membership and want to get their numbers up. Same thing for COB; if a house dropped you it's hard to get a COB bid, but you never know so don't give up.

Also, snap bids are only given out before bids are distributed, so anyone getting an offer of one would get a call tonight.
