being cut
by: confused!I don't understand how I got cut from every house, especially at one house where I like killed every conversation and this girl and I really bonded like she said she liked me and I didn't have ONE bad conversation. My GPA is a 3.8, I had so many extracurricular activities in high school and I worked which they said they liked. I think what makes me mad is that even though I only had 2 houses during sisterhood, I was happy! I really liked one house so incredibly much but the girl behind me HATED this house and still didn't get cut. Like she told everyone she hated this house. WTF. what did I do wrong?? I feel so embarrassed and I'm hurt.

1) Did you have recs? at least 2 for each house? If not, there's part 1 of your answer.
2) Was your social media clean? Do you even know what would be defined as "clean"? If there were pics of you partying, doing stupid things, There's part 2 of your answer.
3) Did you date the ex-boyfriend of an active's cousin-in-law over the summer? If so, there's Part 3 of your answer.
Honestly, I don't know what else to tell you. I am so sorry this did not work out, but you can always hold out for COB in the spring if it's offered. Make friends with sorority girls throughout the year and go through again as a sophomore. Good luck to you!

im so sorry you're going through the same thing. this sucks but I'm going to try and do it in the spring!

I plan on rushing in the spring too, hopefully it's not as biased since it's not as formal. I was unaware of the reputation of Greek life at State, but it's definitely not going to make me want to transfer. That's just ridiculous.
