What are the odds of getting into Chi O if I only know like two girls but have a super high GPA with no recommendation letters

High GPA will get keep you from getting cut - that's their main interest

high gpa won’t help you much if you aren’t from mississippi or know a lot of girls unfortunately

you have no chance. They cut dozen's of girls with 4.0 or higher every year. it is 100 percent about connections.

You won't get Chi O or KD or DG without in-house connections AND rec letters. And with no variable quota this year, they can all take alot more new members. But that's OK - there are 5 other great sororitys at State so start rush with an open mind!

There's no quota this year?!? Are you sure?

Yes. Which means KD and Chi O and probably DG can pledge around 100 instead of 75 or 80. But you still won't get KD or Chi O without a good hometown rec AND lots of connections.

Im a senior chi o and when I went through rush I legit didn't know a single person so never say never. Our grades are for sure something that is really important to us but at the end of the day we don't base it off of JUST grades. Im pretty sure we do have a quota unfortunately... That sucks for us and the girls going through but if it helps our greek system as a whole im all for it. As a chi o, I love my house so much but I can honestly say I have a friend in every one and would be honored to be apart of any sorority on campus. Just be yourself and find your people.

I’m a senior from MS and didn’t know a soul in DG but thats where I went. Just stay positive and don’t worry about getting into specific houses. Be open minded and look for where you best fit and not just what letters seems exclusive
