So basically I’m hearing that if you don’t play a high school sport, like basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, softball, rodeo, or track, Kappa Delta won’t accept you. If your grades are good but no HD sport listed, you’ll be cut the second day.?

Chi O. KD won overall, which includes dance, banner, basketball and queen sections. Chi O won the very physical and very aggressive basketball tournament. I know a few KDs who played soccer and volleyball in high school but that's about it. I think most of the soccer and tennis and volleyball players are Phi Mu's.

Someone is giving you bad information! Basically if you weren't super popular, don't like to go out a lot, and don't want to date only Sigma Chi's or Kappa Sigs, Kappa Delta won't accept you.

No, KD won't accept you unless you have every alumn in your area writing a strong rec for you, you are super popular, or you are a legacy. That's the only way you'll get in KD at State.

That’s Chi O. Very atheltic. Does not sound like KD at all. Maybe a few high school soccer players at best.

No one can figure out what it takes for KD to accept you. Almost everyone starts recruitment wanting KD and has no idea why they are cut. But I’m certain being athletic is not important - that’s actually kind of funny based on the KDs I know!

This is a KD thread promoting themselves. I know many girls that released KD as soon as they could. It is not for everyone especially out of state girls. Not a lot of top
kD chapters where pmn’s are coming from so they don’t know much about them until they get on Greek rank or on campus. Quit concentrating on KD, you have just as good or better options elsewhere on campus.

Hi Mom!!! No one pledges a sorority at State based on a reputation in another State. If that was the case, all out of state of girls would pledge Zeta and Pi Phi. But I agree everyone should stop concentrating on KD.

Do you really want to be in a sorority if you think they only care about what you can offer them. Power to ya sis. You’ll cry yourself to sleep realizing being a (whatever) didn’t fix your life.
