Nope- not much to it! Very minor! Less than the chi omega incident at the armory when they stole liquor, punched a cop, and took two girls to the ER to pump their stomachs. And much less than the drunken brawls zeta has weekly in the District. And certainly less than the alcohol induced make out scenes the kd’s have together in public. No I’m not a Phi Mu but I am not going to let someone start drama about them when several sororities need to clean up their own back yard.

Stop with the rumors. Chi O and KD were never on social probation. People hoped they would be but they were not. It would have been on the Panhellenic website just like Pike and Sigma Chi’s social probation was listed right after it happened. In this day and age Greek Life immediately posts social probation on the website.

I don’t know what planet any of you are on. Chi o was on probation for a lot of incidences that happened at their formal last year. It was no secret. Phi Mu has had a slip up as well. Other sororities, through time, have had unfortunate mess ups. We are college girls and we make mistakes. Mothers, if this is you starting this drama, leave this alone.

For some reason everyone wants to talk about all the other probations that have past but no one wants to say what happened with Phi Mu and why they are currently on probation. What gives?

So it goes to show that Chi Omega runs the show. PNMs, let me tell you that last year’s pledge class drank so much at a pre game party that they were allowed to board a bus st the chi o house. Most houses do not allow this but chi o can do whatever they want. They left there and went to the armory where they stole hundreds of dollars worth of liquor from the United States Army. The police were called but while enroute, a few other girls went into seizures and ambulances were called. A chi o punched the policeman and was arrested.The girls had their stomachs pumped whike in the ER. This made local news and a great debate erupted on whether they should have probation or not. They did have a slight slap on then wrist and had social probation at the beginning of the year. It lasted until December i think. A lot was kept hush hush because the reputation of chi oneeded tobe kept pristine. All it did was make others laugh at how haughty they are. Now we can continue with more gossip and facts if you’d like. I’ll wait.

These are facts:
1. Chi O was never listed on Panhellenic’s website as being on probation. Never.
2. Phi Mu is listed right now! Social probation until December.
You can spin it any way you like but it’s there for everyone to see.

So the question remains;
Why will you not acknowledge that chi o got AWAY with a huge alcohol incident and only received a slap on the wrist? Are you going to acknowledge that Phi Mu had an alcohol incident and they are having it listed publicly? And why does it sound like you are HAPPY ABOUT IT?
The point is chi o gets away with a lot more than other sororities because of the role their parents play on campus- through large donations, tenured faculty members, ect.
It’s true, you have printed it here. All PNMs can read it. There are a lot more incidents we can go through.
You can keep saying “Phi Mu is the only one listed”. Ok that’s fine! You are basically saying “nah nah nana boo boo.” You got caught and we did too but nothing happened to us! So screw off Phi Mu! Yep that’s how you come off as inclusive and sweet!

No one is denying there was an incident with Chi O. But your facts on it are not correct. The whole argument here is that if Chi O was officially on social probation at any point it would have been on the Panhellenic website. You can’t argue that point because nothing was ever listed. Be real. To think Panhellenic or the University would give Chi O special treatment is wrong. They sure didn’t give Sigma Chi a break.

The REPORT CARD where the incident and probation are listed was not in existence when chi o and sigma chi had their alcohol probation put before MSU office of Greek relations. It is new and this is the first report card. This was told to me by a graduating senior who worked in that office.

In the original post, the MS Army National Guard doesn’t have alcohol in their armory. And breaking into a National Guard armory would trigger federal law enforcement on top of the local law enforcement. Something tells me that part isn’t true and someone is exaggerating but I know very few people understand how the National Guard works.

Too bad the armory rents out it’s dance hall with a bar forvthevifficers. You obviously don’t go to school at State because EVERYONE on campus knew what happened and where! Its the armory on Highway 12. Ambulances and police were there and the news. But no report card existed at the time. It exists now so I guess all sororities will be on it at some point.
We all know that they all screw up at some point.

To @IMO: The report card did exist during the Fall 2017 semester when Chi O was “rumored” to be on social probation. It’s right there on the Greek Life webpage. Panhellenic 2017 Sorority Report Card. It looks EXACTLY like the current one but no group is marked as being on any type of probation. Pike, Phi Tau, and Sigma Chi are all clearly marked as being on probation on the Fall 2017 IFC Score Card. If Chi O had really been on probation it would have been marked. Zero doubt. Let’s be real, the University Administration is not going to show favoritism over something that could get them sued. We all wanted the rumor to be true but is just wasn’t.

Chi o and KD are two of the most arrogant sororities on campus. Everyone knows it. But arrogance is one of the 7 deadly sins. Those will get you eventually!

I think Panhellenic and IFC needs to revamp how they issue citations for alcohol incidences. It may seem to be fair to some but in the school community, appearances show that it is lopsided towards the largest fraternities and sororities. Appearances are what people go by. The school has GOT to see that. Things like this make me wish the Greek system didn’t exist. Please someone straighten this mess out.

So what happened for Phi Mu to be on probation? Not sure who is starting drama, but as a pnm I'd like to know what happened and how long they are on probation.
