Derby Days is so rigged. "Point is", is right until Phi Mu, ADPi, Pi Phi, and ZTA refuse to compete NOTHING is going to change. Sigma Chi needs the sororities more than we need them. It's is so ridiculous and makes the chapters who rarely place feel like it's pointless to even try. I mean why put in all the work, money, etc. just to lose to KD, Chi O, or DG? Might as well just make it between them. We are all Greek and we need to start acting like it. I know it's a competition, but no one hear can say that these chapters don't deserve to place ever. Even with these new judges nothing changed. We need to take a stand or it will remain like this forever. ALSO DG WAS ROBBED of the dance portion.

I’m all for ddd, ADPi, Pi phi, ZTA and Phi Mu refusing to participate. I’ve thought this for years. However, DG, Chi O, KD and Sigma Chi will spin it to make the other sororities seem like sore losers, not like they’re taking a stand against something that’s been unfair and rigged for years.

You might want to talk to anyone older who is an MSU sorority alum. According to my cousins Phi Mu won like 6 or 7 straight years beginning around 2000 and ending around 2008.

Do you seriously think Sigma Chi would jeopardize a very popular event by “letting KD” win? Sorry but that’s being a sore loser. Current and last year Sigma Chi sweethearts are Chi Os. Using your logic Chi O could be winning too. I’m not thrilled to see KD win every year but their dance is consistently very good and they consistently play for the basketball championship (highest percentage of the total score).

This Disney movie theme was done in 2014. I know a few of the same movies were repeated this year. Did anyone other than Phi Mu use some of the same music used before. “It Takes Two” was used in 2014 for Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee and was used today. Heads will roll” was used in 2014 and today for the Queen of Hearts. Chi O did Alice in Wonderland in ‘14. It’s too easy to look up videos on YouTube and compare. IMO if you are doing a movie that’s been done before you need to be completely original.

KD donates THOUSANDS of dollars, like a business, to the same philanthropies as sigma chi. They are even listed as a BUSINESS DONOR on sigma chi’s corporate sponsors. Guess what? That insures they will win every year! My mom is a principal of a school. She sometimes has to “switch things around” to make sure the right people win to please those who donate or do important things at her school. So KD will always win Derby Days due to a wealthy alumni that donates thousands of dollars to Their philanthropy. It’s known! It will always be that way! And to KD, it makes them win in front of PNMs.

Point is we all know the outcome before the competition begans. It rotates between chi o , kd, and dg as to who will win.
Until the sororities ( ADPi, zeta, ddd, pi
Phi and Phi Mu ) refuse to compete - and Phi Mu flat out go cheated this year - things will never change.
