fall recruitment date moved
by: pnmDoes anyone know if MSU moved sorority fall recruitment to a later date? Fall classes now start a week later than in the past.

Looks like recruitment and new maroon camp both run at the same time. They must be trying to cut back on the number of girls who go to new maroon, because no way would I want to spend an entire day at new maroon and then somehow put myself together to go to the houses.

The MSU site states sorority recruitment is Aug. 12-18 and New Maroon runs Aug 12-18. And they both state that girls can do both, which means part of the day they will be at New Maroon and the other part at recruitment. It's too bad that they coincide.

The had a HUGE number at New Maroon last year. I'm sure it was a hard decision when they chose to make New Maroon and sorority recruitment run on the same days. It will be interesting to see if it affects the #s at New Maroon and/or recruitment.
