transferring cheerleadiers

So I’m hearing in my hometown that several East cheerleaders and some Ole Miss girls are transferring to State st Christmas and WILL be cheerleaders here next year. They are also saying they will be Zetas this spring during their open rush that is coming. Is this true?

Most cheerleaders all know sponsors of different squads at the colleges and universities. When for example a “flyer” is needed, the sponsors get a message out and a lot of JUCO cheerleaders come running to try out. So yes many will transfer this spring semester to tryout. There is nothing wrong with them rushing for a sorority. Zeta may have openings this semester. I am hearing many sororities are not up to chapter totals. Spring recruitment is a serious thing now! (I think girls at dropping due to grades)

Are you saying that sponsors encourage these people to transfer and they have a pre assigned spot on the squad? Seems unfair to all who tryout? How do we contact the sponsor to get this pre tryout status?

Grades are not the only reason girls drop. Girls drop for a variety of reasons... Some people have even posted about getting bullied in Greek life & that’s why they drop. Some have cricrumstances come up where they cannot pay dues & some situations where they have to go home. Or maybe they just didn’t like sorority life, some people end joining and don’t like it & that’s okay. That doesn’t make them less than a Greek member. Categorizing all girls dropping due to grades is not right, not logical and overall student.

Yes I know for a fact a current cheerleader contacted a coach/sponsor to see if that squad needed a flyer. She had tried out at two other SEC schools and failed to make it. The State coach later called her back because a need came up. They are all in contact.
