looking for advice

I'm a freshman right now and didn't go through fraternity rush because I didn't know much about Greek life and didn't know it was something I'd be interested in. I've decided I want to do it now but Im not sure if I should rush this spring or fall of my sophomore year, and which frats to look at. I'm not worried about "top house" or having the wildest parties, mainly just looking for a cool group of guys who can have a good time. Didn't find many helpful reviews on here so any advice would be appreciated!

I'd pay attention to the guys in your classes and dorms to see which group you might like or what would be the best fit for you.

Try getting to know some guys and get on rushee lists for parties. It helps a lot, and then you'll be able to meet some guys and be in their atmosphere. Good luck, I'd try spring rush.
