madison

I'm from out of state and visited Madison during fall break. The way the some of the girls act from Madison, I was expecting it to be high dollar and extravagant. I guess maybe they haven't visited real affluent areas because they have nothing to act snobby about.

Mississippi is the poorest state in America. The standards for what is considered “rich” and “high class” in Mississippi is very low and would be just typical middle class else where. It’s super funny honestly! I’m from New York and when people say they are wealthy it’s no joke. Here I’m just like okay wealthy means average joe where I’m from lol.

Remember the Madison Mom's run this show. I am from a affluent area and was really surprised at Madison and what they think is wealth. But if you chose to attend MSU you need to get in your lane and enjoy. You will not change their hearts and minds.

Public school too. It cost my parents 20k a year for me to go a prep high school. I'm in a major that MSU is known for so I will stay but the snobbery is real over nothing! Have any of these moms that you speak of ever left the state?

While I agree with some of your post, why would you come to “the poorest state” to further your education if all that’s here is sub-par?

I'm from North Mississippi. We could care less about Madison and laugh at them.

I’m from Madison and many of us laugh at the Madison moms that you speak of. They buy their daughters way into all activities and social lives.,it’s so sad
