new sorority

There is a process for new house to colonize and the first step is MSU pan inviting national chapters to present their ideas for colonizing at MSU. Then the current 8 houses vote on the chapter to come to MSU. I would advise calling to Greek affairs office and asking. I believe and could be wrong until every house is at total membership number this will not be an option. Just another reason to build up every house.

New houses don't colonize in the spring. If kappa were to colonize they would come in the fall and participate in the first day of formal recruitment so girls can get a look and then hold interviews after formal is over and then have their own bid day. Then through out the year they would have COB as well as spring rush. Then in the fall following they would participate in formal recruitment with everyone else. MSU isn't currently looking for a new chapter at the current moment but that could change. Sororities have to come and present and though kappa was chosen the first time they presented (they later pulled out due to adpi not being established yet) that doesn't mean they will be this time. No soroeities this year have presented thus far so it doesn't seem like kappa will be here anytime soon.

Kappa kappa gamma was here on campus in the 70's. It would be re-colonization.

To people saying its not gonna happen, Jackie Mullen literally told the current sororities during rush that the end goal of quota was to get a 9th sorority on this campus and expand greek life as much as possible

Kappa kappa gamma will be a recolonization.

KKG already presented, was invited & declined due to "lack of alumnae support in the close area". I saw their declining letter last year. Whoever comes on will have to have the immediate cash flow to build a house within a year & without alumnae in the area it's hard to round up millions to build &/or then expect a new chapter to pay for it. (ADPi got really lucky with Sig Ep's house.)
