Why is it that some frats get on probation for the smallest things? Why do others get away with anything? Some frats can haze and force feed liquor down the mouths of pledges and never get in trouble. Others have a bad meeting and then bam! They have probation! I'm tired of it!

Because Sigma Chi held down a pledge and poured liquor down his throat, they have been placed on a year of probation. I believe there was video evidence. This should never happen at our university and is the reason fraternities across the country are losing their charters.

I thought they received no punishment. They had a 15 year old girl get drunk and sick in a party and nothing ever happened. Her parents almost sued the university but still sigma chi was great.

New rules were put in place after this. Yes the girl was at the Sigma Chi house but high school girls were drunk at all houses before the new rules.

How does Sigma Chi not get in trouble for hazing, while Lambda Chi was on probation for almost an entire semester for not filling out one paper to host a party.... How is that fair???

The problem: 2 very high up persons were Sigma Chis at State and seem to protect them. They were on a year's probation during the 2014-15 school year because of an incident at a summer rush part. That's the only time I know of them being on probation.
