I have two sororities rushing me hard. I have a favorite one, but I am scared that the other will put me high on their bid list to screw the other one over. How can i tell one that i want to be here and the other that this isn't the place for me?

You say it exactly how you just told us. And fyi, if you are low on both of their lists (where they are full before they get to your name) then you will need to be a quota addition. Being a quota addition doesn't mean you will go to either of those homes, it could mean getting a bid to a totally different house.

When you rank after the parties only but the house you want on your rank. That way you do not take a spot from another girl that wants that house. Sounds like you would not accept a bid there anyway. You then have to hope the house you favor puts you high enough on the list.

What you do is tell the house you love that you love them and want to be there. You are nice at the other one, tell them you are torn and like it there but just don't know what to do. Don't shoot yourself in the foot there though. Then you rank the one you like best first and the other one second. DO NOT SUICIDE. YOU MAY END UP BIDLESS. As long as you list both sororities you are guaranteed a bid to one of them. Hopefully tomorrow it's the bid you want. If not, still give that house a chance! Commit to finding other people there you like and seeing it thru. You'll probably end up loving it.

If you follow this, note you might not get a bid from either. You are only guaranteed a bid if you list all options. Just FYI.
