chi o and minorities

I heard chi o has never had a black or Hispanic girl join its ranks. As someone that falls into one of these categories, I am concerned about my membership there. I will not be "a token."

If you're not a legacy and from a certain zip code and have at least a 4.0 GPA it won't matter anyway. Just sayin

Then don't pledge Chi O because you will be a token. Also at DG, KD, Phi mu, and Tri Delta

I know there is are multiple Women of Color in most sororities. Take the time during the rounds today to look around at the different faces in each chapter. Also look around at Gamma Chis, and girls in the parties with you. They might be your sisters too. Find where you feel welcomed and encouraged. We talk about how "every chapter is so diverse" so hopefully you can find your home!

Definitely was a black member from pledge class 2015. From what I know she was very happy there. Maybe she went to nursing school this year.
