by: EdithChi omega had their worse rush in decades 6 years ago. So they set as their mission to put girls in authority positions to run rush. They dictate to Panhellenic who gets how many girls and they get first dibs. They are pushing the agenda of variable quota and what each group gets for numbers. When today is over, just remember who is in charge.

I've been thinking about this post since it was written. First of all how does variable quota benefit Chi O? It doesn't! They have to make bigger cuts than any chapter. Making big cuts IS NOT EASY. They end up having to cut PNMs they would love to have if regular quota was still in place; best friends whose grades aren't the highest, cousins of in house members, lifelong friends; legacies. Again how does this benefit them? The only way it benefits them is it makes our Greek system stronger by making every individual sorority more stable. Secondly. Do you realize that Panhellenic officers rotate through the sororities? One group cannot position themselves to take control of Panhellenic and push their own agenda. It doesn't work that way. Blaming Chi O because a member was Pan president last year when variable quota was put in place is wrong. Pan officers take an oath to put the Greek system's success over the success of their individual sorority. The blame on one house is unfounded and wrong. My house had to make big cuts too. It. Is. Not. Fun. But, If it helps stabilize smaller houses and grows our Greek system then I have to support it!
