Ok so last year with variable 900 girls rushed and Chi I took 79? and the next three close to 90? With only 720 and 8 houses how small will the pledge classes be?

Until we know drop/cut from all houses, it's only a guess. But I'd think 60-90 depending on the house. dont think anyone will have over 100

How many have dropped out this week?

This whole variable quota thing almost sounds "Obamaish" and will eventually hurt the larger sororities. It will hurt them in terms of cash flow. Just almost seems like the same thing as raising taxes on some who work hard and giving the money to the people that are lazy.

Yes. Let's call the smallest sorority on campus lazy for working for years to get the smallest respects it's finally getting this year. How dare we work to make the whole sorority row stronger and encourage more chapters to come because they will thrive and provide more choices for the girls. Also, the low turn out for recruitment isn't helping. Mostly because of this website.

If invited back to 2 parties on pref day...... do you have to go to both?

Would be smart to go back to both. Why burn bridges?

If you go to both parties, you are guaranteed a bid. If you don't, you have the risk of not getting a bid. If you are thinking of dropping, go today and then decide.

Look around 665-675 will get bids after people cut and PNM drop.

Why would 100 girls drop??? That doesn't make any sense to me.

I still don't know how many started out... someone said 720 and another said 772.

If you go off the percentage that dropped last year or got cut out it was about 13%.

2016: 853 PNMs, 733 bids = 14% drop/cut
2015: ??? PNMs, 775 bids = ?% drop/cut
2014: 717 PNMs, 659 bids = 8% drop/cut

It will be interesting to see how many with bids tomorrow.
