is it hard to watch sororities do work week?

by:

Is it hard to watch sororities to prepare during work week? They're telling girls you'll find your home & to trust the process. I didn't find my home. All I got were bratty sisters who could care less about me. It makes me feel like I wasn't good enough to find your home? Do any of y'all feel this way? If so how do you deal with it because it's breaking my heart....

Yeah well just think of all the PNM who will join you in the next few days. A whole new crop of variable quota victims for the sororitys to bully.

Dang you are bitter. I'm sorry recruitment or sorority membership did not turn out well for you but why try to make everyone else miserable too?

I promise you, over time, maybe you will feel better. These things happen. It's life.

Why don't you be part of the solution instead of the problem?

No part of this comment is relevant to this thread! No one was bullied! Please share how you felt bullied by the advice someone gave you because I'm confused. Thanks

Rush itself is a form of bullying. On day 1, we love the PNM we want them to love us. Then the very first night we ask them to rank... while we cut. Message to PNM you just are NOT good enough for ABC sorority. By day 2 there are girls whose hearts are broken especially legacies. Or even worse we carry a legacy for 3-4 days and then cut them? The ranking part is what creates this problem. PNM should be allowed to cut or don't ask them to rank at all and just extend invitations... if Sally hates house XYZ she should not be required to attend their party or shamed into pledging their house.

This person gets it! For the dozens of us who dropped or did not pledge or chose not to be initiated........ this is how we feel. And for me who dropped after being initiated, I followed all the advice and after a whole year still didn't belong and went inactive because it was just aweful. Idk if a different house would have mattered but I pledged and joined the only one that offered me a bid after ranking them last
