what is the truth about ddd?

There is another post about this but... had some pledges behave badly and some older members with bad grades. That's it in a nutshell. They are a great group but took action when it was necessary

As it's been stated before here, DDD doesn't have an identity. They give bids to random girls for the sake of numbers. This led them to having a bad year with a weird pledge class and horrible leadership and scandals that are going to be hard to overcome in the next year.
If you want to be DDD, try Ole Miss (they're top), or try here too. In my opinion, I would not bother with DDD here until they get their crap together. You'd be better off with pledging ZTA or ADPi this upcoming rush. Unless DDD gets it together last minute, which is unlikely.
Don't pledge somewhere because you're a legacy, pledge somewhere because it's where you fit in. Literally can't stress that enough. Maybe DDD here is right for you? Maybe you can look past their awful year? You don't know until you go through recruitment and figure it out. Don't let this site scare you.

#1 tip is stay off this site. 90% of the info on here is extremely biased either for or against a certain sorority. Form your own opinion at rush. You are likely to realize that not all of the girls fit the stereotypes you are led to believe are true from this site. Each and every sorority has their issues no matter how they try to hide it. It's just not possible for 200+ college girls to be perfect. You will see that tri delta is either perfect for you or you just don't fit in with them. Either is fine. This is why rush works the way it does and girls don't get to one-sidedly choose their sorority. Talk to your gamma chi about all of your concerns. Know that having a legacy doesn't mean as much these days. All of the sororities at MSU are absolutely fantastic. Good luck!

If you go into rush and like them, great! If you don't feel like they're for you, don't feel obligated just because of legacy! But KEEP IN OPEN MIND. 90% of the time you don't have a say in rush. Your opinion really only matters when it comes to who you rank first after pref, so remember there are over 200 girls in every sorority and you'll find friends anywhere. There is not one sorority on this campus that anyone should be embarrassed by and I would be proud to be a member of any house here. That is the honest to God truth. This site is normally pretty bad, but leading up to rush and during rush it gets BRUTAL. It's hate on DDD right now, it will be on another chapter at some point. So take everything with a grain of salt because every single girl wants you to want their sorority and not another one....so sometimes the immature members will say whatever it takes to sway your opinion.

Basically panhellenic's variable quota requires you to take a certain amount of girls, which means ddd, pi phi, zeta, and adpi will get the biggest pledge classes that sometimes get awesome girls, and then sometimes girls will fall through. This happens to almost every house! There is no bad house here, and no one is gonna look down on you for pledging a certain house so keep your mind open!!!

I get that pledges who don't make grades, get kicked out but can actives get kicked out for bad grades? I thought once you got initiated, you were safe

Okay obviously who ever is posting this is an exDDD because no one else would know what was said in their chapter meetings. So consider the source...someone who now hates this sorority. Obs they aren't perfect and are working through some issues but dear God no sorority deserves this kind of sh-it talk.

This is honestly pathetic. Whoever is continuously stirring the pot about DDD needs to stop. Check your facts first. The majority of what you're accusing them of has never been talked about on campus. So why are you lying? Probably because you're one of the bitter girls they kicked out for bad behavior the day after initiation. Which they reserve every right to do. If you hadn't of been so embarrassing, you might still be in a sorority. PNM's, take this like a grain of salt. 95% of it isn't even true. It's a jealous and psychotic girl with nothing better to do other than slander the sorority that kicked her out.

Lost in all of this is how bad other houses acted. Ask about Chi O formal, KD having stomachs pumped, Phi mu hazing, zeta partying drunk girls

Really why pledge any house? Just a bunch of drunk hoes!
