why is ddd so bad here?

They put the wrong people in place of their officers that felt bad for girls that every house cut so they took them against the wishes of the actual girls in the chapter and didn't listen to their votes at all. Last good PC was 14, 15 was pretty good until a lot of the good ones dropped, but PC 16 isn't good

As a PNM I would be scared to rush tri delt. They kick out sooooo many girls I would be constantly paranoid. like this post if you can say your chapter hasn't kicked out multiple girls the day after initiation!!!:)

I remember thinking DDDs house was super fun and really liked the girls and going DDD wasn't looked down upon back then. It seems their 2015 pledge class, and 2016 pledge class kind of ruined it for them and whoever they have on exec does not know how to run or foster a functional sisterhood. I was SO hopeful for them when they got that beautiful new house on the row that they would advance but they need to start recruiting better girls. They also don't really have any type of identity. like Pi phi, phi mu are pretty houses, zeta and KD are party houses, dg chi are smart houses but what is tri delt? They don't stick out really or have an established identity on campus. That's really troubling for a house that has been here for so long... the only think they are known for it seems is a bad sisterhood.

Gonna give my best to be non biased here. Quick answer is Ole Miss DDD is known for being old money, old row, over 100 years old. MSU DDD came one year after KD and has never fully developed an identity. They are credited with starting the national partnerships with st Jude and All DDD chapters, but don't remember if they've ever won big awards for st Jude. They also have a mix of in state and out of state girls that seem to be weaker sisterhood wise the past 2 years. I think they should be picky about pnms this year, focus on sisterhood, stay out of drama/gossip, and get involved and they might be okay in the next year or so. But it's stacked deck now a days.

You know how in high school there's always that one girl who thinks she's the prettiest, most popular girl even though she's not? That's kinda how tri delt acts. They want to be "popular" so bad and they really believe they are. The way they go about doing things, however, makes them unlikable. It's just tough to try and like a group that thinks they're better than everyone when they have not proven themselves to do anything good outside of raising money for their philanthropy (but every house raises money so that's an old argument for them to be clinging on to). This is why they're "bad" as you say. If every house dislikes you it's gonna be tough to have a good reputation

This is my truthful opinion. I rushed 2 years ago and am in another sorority. You don't have to believe that but it's the honest truth. DDD was a middle house that had a really large mix of girls. They were average in involvement, grades, pretty much everything, but they were known for being fun, cute, and well liked. I think when I rushed they were on an up swing. They had gotten a couple good pcs and were placing in events recently at competitions. Something happened. I believe like everyone has said the leadership was poor and made some really bad calls. I think getting bigger pcs actually hurt them because it was too many girls and included some reputation risks that normally would have gone to other houses or been released. So they have had a few incidents that aren't good for any sorority, there's no denying that. But the majority of their members are still good girls. Still average, but definitely not deserving as much hate as this terrible site is dishing out.
