Really because my friend in my sorority who had an active sister in dg got cut and I thought that was unheard of??? And I thought I had good connections with active and alums AND was a legacy but still got cut from there!!! Don't sit there and get PNMs hopes up, that's messed up!

They possibly won't have as good of a year because of their incidents but because of variable quota they still will have a quota of around 60-70 girls. I think it'll still be tough. They cut over half the girls the first day last year and probably will do the same again.

The Big 3 always make massive cuts the first day. The question is who will be left on bid day. I agree though that chi o will be hurt this yearr due to last year's bad pledge class..

For all of you saying the formal incident will hurt Chi O, I'll believe it when I see it. They have been too strong for far too long and have been one of the most respected chapters on campus. The girls who caused the trouble are gone. PNMs won't let this keep them from taking a bid from Chi O.

For girls who think they are dead set or only want Chi O, DG, and KD. They'll see all 900 girls (estimation) on Day 1. Day 2 they'll bring back around 400-450 girls. Day 3 they'll bring back about 200-250. They'll pref about 130-150 and have to pledge around 80 of those girls. Those are almost impossible numbers, especially when you consider how many girls are going to pref at 2 of those houses. So PLEASE DO NOT take cuts personally or not give other houses a chance because you think you only want one of these three. Every other house is filled with girls that could be your best friend so give everyone a chance, even if you don't think you "click" with a house at first. You didn't "click" with the FOUR girls you met there, but there are 200+ others and you'll find a home if you want one!

This isn't true by the way. Last year I had the previous year's president (new alum) write my rec letter because she was a family friend and they still cut me
