Make a good impression. Be sweet and outgoing when you walk into the house and let them know you really want them. Houses like to hear if they're your favorite because they're trying to impress you as much as you're trying to impress them. I've noticed that the past few years zeta has focused a lot on taking girls with cute appearances so put your best foot forward. Curl your hair, wear makeup, and smile! They're also all about the name brands. They all wear lily Pulitzer like their life depends on it (not that it's a bad thing) so if you dress girly, act sweet, and let them know they're your top choice, you're likely to get a bid.

I am a ZTA and trust me ladies we are not lilly lovers. Our advisors are lol. We don't care if you're wearing $50 shorts or $5 shorts. Walk in our house and be personable. We just wanna get to know you, and have fun with it. We really want you to be yourself, we want down to earth girls. Don't act like someone you're not, there is no need. Wear what makes YOU feel good!

Every sorority looks for girls who are sweet and seem happy to be there. My advice earlier about telling the house if they are your favorite applies to each and every house on the row. They all want to know what you're thinking about them so if you really like them, let them know. As far as brands and styles, every house has girls that wear designer clothes and girls that don't. They won't cut you for wearing a certain thing unless it looks completely inappropriate (something too short or too low cut). Be yourself so that you know the house you receive a bid from picked you for you and not for the clothes you wear!

Correction:
girls from big Mississippi towns go into rush not wanting zeta. Girls from small towns or from out of state usually go in with an open mind LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO and they decide which house they want based on the conversations they have, not the rumors they hear.
