kicking out actives
by: JwJust wondering why there is a stigma on kicking active girls out? Every sorority has had to do it. If they were kicked out its obviously because they weren't upholding the sorority's standards? Why is that such a big deal? shouldn't that be viewed as a good thing?

I think tri delt has received so much hate because they handled the situations terribly... to kick out 3 people the day after initiation shows how poorly the chapter is run tbh. My chapter would never do that, and I don't think that's ever happened before in sorority world. The individual members of tri delt shouldn't get heat for it, it was clearly an upper level problem and they need a new advisor. Everyone knows how sacred initiation is and everyone knows that you can't rush again after joining a sorority... so to plan to kick girls out the day after initiation is just cruel. The girls were terribly behaved but no one deserves something so mean. Just my 2 cents

According to what I've heard, tri delt cannot kick out new members, only initiated members. i'm not in tri delt but just based on what friends have told me about the situation.
