kd
by: StadtMy friends and I are discussing rush. We all agree that KD is the most arrogant sorority on campus. Why is this? Is it true? And, is it a good thing for a sorority to be so arrogant?

I have not met any KDs that I would consider arrogant. They are my favorite house (besides the one I'm in obviously) Being in a house that according to this website is a "bottom tier house" some of the sororities (cough cough chi o and phi mu) are rude and act like they're better than me because of my letters. Not one KD that I've met has acted this way. Of course I only know girls in the most recent pledge class of each sorority so maybe the older girls act different. But if you're going to call a house arrogant, it should be chi o or phi mu. They're the mean girls on campus

Speak for yourself! I found that my chi o and phi mu friends are the kindest and most giving. It was KD on derby day that rubbed it in all day and for weeks that they won. I found them very boisterous around campus. They never speak to me when they see me on campus even though we know each other. RUDE!

KD's definitely act Ike they're special just because of their letters. They're arrogant and very cliquey. All other girls in sororities have friends elsewhere but most of them stay within their KD clique if we're being honest. Not a great way to be if you ask me. They also aren't going to be nice to you just because they are nice they usually want something from you if they choose to associate with you at all

I hate to admit it, but KD is now alone at the top. I don't find them to be arrogant but I do think they all become super close, which is actually very nice and the main reason to join a sorority. I'm in a "top" sorority and have made 2 or 3 good friends in my sorority, while my friends who pledged KD have a huge group of 20-25 other KD's that they hang out with all the time, go to Spring Break together, go to Hangout Fest together, etc. They did go a bit crazy on Derby Days but it really is a big deal to win 2 years in a row so I think any sorority would have reacted the same way. I don't think they mean to be a "clique" but they just all really like each other and start hanging out together, which is something I really hoped for in my sorority but it just didn't happen.
