phi mu

I rushed this year and got a sorority i didn't want and stayed for a month or two and then dropped but I am rushing again next year as a sophomore and am just wondering what my chances are of getting Phi Mu or Tri Delt? i have made friends in these this year but both cut me last year so I'm just nervous

Tri delt takes sophmores and upperclassman but phi mu does not because they are top tier. Be careful about Tri delt though they have a terrible sisterhood, but anyway as long as you have a relatively high gpa like above a 3.2 and can hold a conversation Tri delt will give you a bid.

You don't have to pretend Tri Delt has a bad sisterhood. This girl already has friends in the sorority I'm sure she knows what they're all about.

Tri delt won't take you. A girl I know is involved with their recruitment. Btw tri delt has one of the best sisterhoods, don't act like just because they kicked out a few bad seeds bringing them down that they're the worst lol

If their rules are like my house's, once they accepted a bid elsewhere, we can't offer them another bid. Maybe DDD still can, but my house can't.

there's a quota of how many upperclassmen you have to have. Some kd's i know transferred from CC and got KD as a junior. It doesn't matter if you're top tier or bottom tier.

When Tri delt gets butthurt that someone wrote they take upperclassmen 😂 THEY DO! Stop getting so upset that you're not top tier

Tri Delt isn't upset they take upperclassmen. Some of their upperclassmen are the best members, roadrunners, OLs, etc. No use in discriminating because they didn't rush as freshmen.

according to DG's website in 2015 they took 1 junior and 2 sophomores. This years bid list they didn't take any upperclassmen. I wouldn't count on DG taking upperclassmen or phi mu for that matter. Yes it happens but usually these are legacies or have VERY strong connections in the house. Its not realistic though. If you are an outstanding pnm with connections tri delt will probably take you though!

I meant that they won't take you because they were previously in a sorority here for a while and then dropped. Yes, they take multiple sophomores and juniors EVERYONE DOES lol chill

I know for a fact that Tri Delta will take you if you're an upperclassman or you accepted a bid from somewhere else and then dropped. Just depends on your reputation and if your friends will speak up for you during rush.

If you know girls that's better, but for most girls it's acknowledged when going through if you have rushed before and if you accepted a bid. Most people will do research and hear that you stayed for a while and then dropped, and that doesn't look the best.
But if you can make an outreach to multiple girls in a house that you want then that might help.
