It's unbelievable the steps Panhellenic has taken to stack the deck for adpi! I understand that their financial situation requires some sort of action but to reduce rush to a lottery is ridiculous! PNMs and sororitys could save a lot of time and money if they just drew names of whoever signs up for rush. Girls that we really wanted with high rankings were relegated to adpi and will probably drop out so that none of the houses will benefit.

There will be girls that drop. They did last year. They did in the spring. Now they have letters they never wanted. All this has done is minimize Greek life.
And don't forget the 100 or so girls that fell thru the cracks. Only pledging 650 plus girls ... you might as well just have 6 houses.

Yup. Let's all blame ADPI when Pi Phi and Tri Delt were struggling with numbers too.

The only problem with your logic is that now, tri delta and pi Phi are retaining their numbers and adpi still can't keep the girls they get so lol don't blame either of the other two houses. They're solid now. The only struggling house now is adpi

ADPi has only been on campus for 4 years. You can't expect a sorority to come onto campus and immediately become established.

How about we support ADPI and respect them for the great sorority they are and stop bullying their new members into dropping because the rest of you want to feel superior? They've really cleaned up their act and their new PC shows. Every girl should feel proud to accept a bid from ADPI, or any sorority for that matter. They're working hard to keep their numbers up. Stop undermining everything they've accomplished because you want to blame abother sorority for the fact that you're not in a house you like.

Because believe it or not, girly. Some girls go to school for the wrong reasons. Some only go for their Mrs. And for many think what sorority they're in will affect the rest of their lives. We cannot change their mindsets but the school can push rush back. Once again this isn't Pan making these changes but the top of the University.
