by: MsuThe ONLY reason lower houses like pi phi, phi mu, tri delt, and zeta got any of their top girls is because xo, dg, and kd couldn't take them. So y'all saying how you swept the row? More like picked up the leftovers. The top houses got every top girl they wanted. The rest got the good girls who just weren't good enough. Sorry I'm just sick of the arrogance when these girls were basically handed to them bc of the new quota system

There are plenty of girls who are not Chi O, DG, or KD that have great personalities, reputation, grades, and involvement. Your opinion of "what is good enough" to you does not make other houses girls not as good. There are accomplished girls in every house. If other houses are full of "leftovers and nobodys" why did Zeta have a girl on homecoming court that had a better resume than girls in Kd, Chi O, and DG? Why does Phi Mu have multiple great girls involved in Miss MS and USA with great resumes and other houses do not? Why does Pi Phi have such a great variety of girls when they have not even been at State that long with also girls with great involvement and personalities? Why does Tri Delta still raise some of the most money for their philanthropy? If they are all just "leftovers" than how is this possible?

ZTA isn't gaining on anyone. They won ONE thing. They still have the leftover girls that Phi Mu, Tri Delt, and Pi Phi all cut.

I'm pretty sure that you know that's not true. I just pledged this fall and I can tell you the truth about how it really was during recruitment. I'm not from Mississippi, but most of the Mississippi girls really wanted Chi O, KD or DG. Most of us OOS girls knew pretty early on that we would be in Tri Delt, ZTA, Pi Phi, ADPi or maybe Phi Mu. And we felt good about our options. There honestly wasn't a clear preference between ZTA, Tri Delt and Pi Phi among PNMs during recruitment. Most everyone considered these three to be on the same level. It's laughable that anyone would say the leftovers ended up in ZTA. There are no more "leftovers" in ZTA than in Pi Phi or Tri Delt. Some girls liked Phi Mu and some really did not like them. There are some great girls in ADPi, but most of us felt like they would be our last choice.

Truth. Tri Delta dominated Greek Week. Pi Phi had watermelon queen. Zeta won Limelight. Isn't this what Panhellenic wanted? Great girls in every house???? There are no "leftovers" and the "top" houses may have gotten who they wanted but it seems to me the other houses are winning...

Sure they are winning some comps and good for them! Chi O and KD did pretty well on HOCO court and getting picked for organizations like OL and New Maroon Camp. Winning comps is only part of makes a house strong. Hopefully all of our houses will continue to get stronger!

Zeta was on homecoming court too and SHOCKER... there were NON Greek on the court!!!! The entitlement has got to stop. Just because the "top" houses claim to have gotten just exactly who they wanted does not mean they got the best girls.....
I mean do you really want that PNM to only want you because you are self titled as a "top" house. HMMMM... let's see which girls are traveling abroad instead of trying out for OL or New Maroon. Which girls are taking summer missionary posts? Or which girls are taking a co-op job to further their education. You might want to reconsider that "top" house mentality. Because those "leftovers" the ones that DG XO and KD didn't want have a heck of a lot more members than the entitled few....

1. ZTA had one on HOCOas did DG. KD and Chi O had 2 plus Chi O had Miss MSU so your statement about HOCO is wrong. 2. The Phi Mu's in Muss Mississippi USA both graduated in May of 2015 so you can't use them to compare Phi Mu now. The current Chi O who is Miss Mississippi is the same age so shouldn't be used to compare.
Now, I def agree that NO sorority had "leftovers" ! I find that term offensive and rude. Your facts are a little off though.
