rush again

You accepted a bid from a house. You are not able to spring rush. Also, by dropping out of your house you have less of a chance of getting into another if you rush next fall.

Agree with above. You are bound to the one you joined for a whole yea. You do have a shot at Phi Mu next year but it is super hard to get in as a sophomore. You better have stellar grades and know a bunch of girls to vouch for you.

If you joined a sorority this semester, then you can't join anything in the spring. You would have to go through next fall. I would be careful with that though considering you have already dropped out of one chapter. If the other chapters released you before? More than likely they will do it again. Who is telling you that you can get a bid to phi mu? Considering how this years recruitment went, no chapter can promise anyone anything. And it's against Panhellenic rules for a chapter to make that promise to you. Be careful!

Don't count on a Phi Mu promise. I wouldn't believe that if I were you. After this years rush, there is no telling what could happen. But Phi Mu does seem to bid promise a lot and that is against Panhellenic rules! Trouble. Trouble.

my good friend was promised Phi Mu during rush week, even had some girls saying "Can't wait to see you on Bid Day!", and she got cut before Pref Night. Bid promises are empty words with no merit to them.

Phi mu did a lot of bid promising. I was cut right before pref and decided to withdraw! Glad to see someone calling them out for dirty rushing. But no one will do anything about it
