by: AmyThose of you that think you will just go to OLe Miss now need to rethink things. If you think this rush is hard, Ole Miss is brutal. Most of their sororities already have their lists mostly complete. It is my understanding they may be implementing the same system but I'm not sure.

Well at least they would know up front ....
No one told pnm here how played they were being. Girls took bids to tri delta, phi mu, and pi phi and are already planning to drop. Thinking that the houses of their moms and grandmothers just cut them. They weren't cut ... Panhellenic made the cuts forcing girls into houses where the do not want to be.
Those of us who wrote recs and are alums of state are very disappointed with how numerous wonderful girls were treated. This is going to nationals and you will feel the financial effects

So they weren't high enough on top tier's lists, went to mid tier houses who are doing a lot better recently, and attended bid day but plan on dropping and going to Ole Miss?
If that's their choice, can't stop them, but they are getting set up for heartache. Majority of top OM chapters would be nervous to take a chance on a last minute addition who dropped for not liking their choice at state. Some will benefit, but probably a good bit will get hurt.
So I hope they weigh out the pros and cons heavily and decide to do it for the right reasons and not just because they are upset.
