girls are only invited to one house for pref. Typically happens if they were able to cut a couple houses early in the week but then the ones they have left start cutting them until they end up with one. I know my sorority finds out if any girls we are preffing only have us left so we can put them higher on the list to make sure they get a bid. Since their options aren't maximized even though they aren't suiciding, they could end up bidless if they're too far down and all the spots fill before we get to them. I'm sure some people still do suicide, but I'd say more often than not the girls don't pref one house by choice.
