miss mississippi
by: MeeeeMiss Mississippi, Laura Lee Lewis, says she graduated from Mississippi State in Elementary Education. However, she was lined up to do student teaching this fall. A few weeks ago, the school cancelled her student teaching assugnment saying she wasn't ready. How can you graduate in education, as claimed, without student teaching? Or did the people at miss Mississippi know she would win so they asked to cancel? Is this typical Chi Omega behavior where they manipulate the way their grades are represented? Did chi o and state claim that Lewis graduated when she really hasn't? No big deal but chi o needs to be honest about her status as graduated or not. Hmmmmm

You sound very uninformed. First of all Mississippi State has never said LLL was a graduate - all of the press releases that I have seen say "student". Most literate people would understand that to mean not yet a graduate! Chi O has said nothing about her being a graduate or her status as a student but only a Chi O alumna which is the truth because she was an active member for 4 years! You can be an alumna of a sorority without graduating from the university. As for your accusation of Chi O manipulating their GPA, I suggest you take your complaint to Panhellenic. Do you really think Panhellenic would allow ONE group to "manipulate" their GPA? Grow up and step away from the keyboard.

After more thought ... You must be one bitter human being to be such a tough cyber bully. IF you knew LLL you would know she is a young woman who demonstrates her strong Christian faith in everything she does. Do you realize that her Miss Mississippi platform deals with bullying? I feel sorry for you and the sad world you live in where it's ok to attack someone's character on an anonymous website. Slandering a sorority is one thing but mentioning a person by name is beyond low. So go ahead, slam Chi O all you want but know your comments on here will have zero affect of them as a group.

To the first reply: No one ever said MSU said she graduated. It says that LLL said she graduated. Which she could have said will graduate and MS Mississippi might have changed it to graduated. To the original poster: I saw a similar thing where another MSU contestant's newspaper article said she was something that she isn't, so it might be the people releasing the information's fault.
