Believe it or not I am coming to state in the fall and posted the question . The other thread about houses was no info at all and hardly reads like a phi mu wrote it! I was only on campus last year and heard about the others updating. I stayed with a pi phi so I know theirs is great..... Saw chi o addition so sorry you are the one embarrassing yourself.

Who said anything about you sounding like a phi mu? Where did you pull that from?

The ADPi house was built by Sig Ep. ADPi had no house and leased/bought it when Sig Ep was kicked off campus. Pi Phi house was built in 2009 I believe.

All of the above is true except:
ADPi- their house was the Sig Ep house but they got kicked off campus. ADPi updated it a little and have been leasing it since they came on campus. They have house plans and will have a new house behind Phi Delt at some point

Pi Phi- was on campus a couple of years with no house. I think it was finished in 2011.

ZTA- their house was the 2nd house built on campus (chi o was first). They are doing an addition to their house but not sure about a renovation.

Chi O was the first sorority on campus but Zeta's house was the first built. Chi O's was the second house built.

You are correct about ZTA house being first. They boast about getting to choose the best spot on the hill that overlooks campus.

I agree. I was on campus last Saturday and both houses look great. The facade of the Tri Delt house is further along so it's easy to tell how it will look. This being said, Phi Mu is at a disadvantage due to the location of their house. Tri Delt's house is clearly visible from Bully Blvd and will be seen by most people visiting campus. I don't see the houses giving either an advantage during recruitment but the Tri Delt house makes a nice statement to visitors due to its location. It now fits in with the other very visible houses on campus - DG, KD, Chi O and Zeta.

I disagree about the advantage part. I really think this house will put an up on both of these sororities. As much as it hurts to say, people look at houses and use that to pick a lot more than people think.

I could only see a recruiting advantage if the new houses were better than other houses. As things are now it only puts them on equal footing house wise, not above anyone.

I mean not an advantage over other sororities that are above them, but an advantage for jus themselves and it will help their rush. A lot of people didn't want them because of their small house.

Phi mu has never had trouble during rush due to their house. It is much larger now and you can see it from the highway better than the others. Phi Mu has always done well just like the other sororities. Please think and research before you state an untrue thing.

Hey Phi Mu defense. God y'all are pathetic. You can't even let a comment, that was made about TWO sororities by the way and was not overtly negative, slide without commenting.

This discussion has several houses talking about and bragging about their house. These houses cost thousands of dollars to build., if ANY sorority wants to brag, explain, defend, and take credit for their additions and new construction, they freaking can. You ain't paid nothing for your house sister. YOUR MOM AND DAD/GUARDIAN has. You need to sit down and shut your ungrateful mouth up. I'm sick of you constantly coming on here and telling either phi mu or Pi phi they are stupid or pathetic. Last time I checked, both did fine during rush. Also, both have ample amounts of activities on campus. I am an alumni of State. I just happened to come upon this site. You are the embarrassment of our school by being the kind of Greek woman that stirs up hate. Go away. You are a mean, vile, despicable person.

Speak for yourself!! I work EVERY summer and during school holidays to pay for 75% of my own sorority bill!! You are actually the "mean girl"! There were only 2 semi negative comments on here (yours made it 3) and those 2 would never have been made unless a Phi Mu hadn't flipped out over a comment they didn't like. The funniest part is you actually think it's one person making negative comments on this site about Phi Mu. I can assure you it's more than one. Your condescending mean, vile and despicable comments have completely change the fairly positive intent of this post. Congratulations.

I'm in DG and they showed us the plans for our upcoming renovation starting (I think) next year. Not positive on when but they have the plans and it's be approved and everything.

I love all the houses being renovated, it looks great for our campus! Do you know what the renovations are going to include?

Agree with above - how do you improve it? Bigger is ok because sorority membership is growing but changing the front is a mistake imo.

They are adding on to their dining room because too many girls have to sit in the chapter to room to eat, and they are also getting a covered patio in the back
