Which one is "higher"? Or if you had to go one, which one would you go?

Tri Delt, only because they have been there longer and have a better philanthropy. Everything else is the same between them.

Definitely Tri Delta. They have way more involvement than Pi Phi and are a better sorority nationally. Their sisterhood seems awesome as well.

Tri Delt and Pi phi are about the same nationally. They are both power houses. That doesn't really have anything to do with rank though. Zeta and ADPI are also big nationally. Personally I don't know if I'd go tri Delt or Pi phi. Tri Delt seems to have nicer, more down to earth girls, who are classy and invovled. Pi phi however has a lot of beautiful girls and they are very social and frats love them, they have also been doing better in Greek competitions. They are both very solid middle tier houses and respected on campus. You just need to go with the group you feel you would fit in best with... It's honestly up to preference. They are so close in rank it would be impossible to say one is better than the other. MSU needs to get another house and then ranks will start to change

I agree with the first comment, I think it all comes down to the philanthropy. St Jude is an awesome place and pretty hard to compete with, if you're joining a sorority for that reason. It really just depends on what you're wanting from joining one

They have different types of girls, so you'll think one is better than the other based on who you fit with more. Tri Delt's are very down to earth, girl next door. They are involved in a lot but aren't in your face about it. They work really hard and have a very close knit sisterhood and an awesome philanthropy. Their girls are either more reserved, studious, and not likely to be found on the party scene or the life of the party types. Pi Phi is newer so a lot of big personalities end up there. They tend to be more visible on campus but are not one of the more involved sororities. Their girls are generally attractive and are the type that have perfect instagrams. They are everywhere socially and have recently started placing in events. You will probably be into the laidback vibe of Tri Delt or the social butterfly vibe of Pi Phi. One isn't better than the other, most everyone would agree they are both solid middle houses with strengths and weaknesses, just different ones from each other.

I completely agree. They're both great "middle tier" houses, but for the most part have different types of girls. Tri Delt is a little more "to themselves," but not in a bad way, and just have a lot of nice girls. Pi Phi is also very laid back, but I think they stand out a little more and you'll see more of them out wherever you go. From my experience, they're actually really easy to get along with.

They both have amazing philanthropies, but again, they're both very different. Tri Delt works with St. Jude, which is incredible and respectable in a million different ways. I think they usually make one or two trips a year to St. Jude (which I think is in Memphis) to do their work there. Pi Phi works with kids and literacy, and does the majority of their tutoring and working with kids in Starkville schools, as well as collecting and donating books to the community. Both awesome philanthropies, but the only difference is that one is more local than the other.

They're both great, it just depends on who you get along with better.
