Yea....no. I can't speak for ADPi and Zeta, but Pi Phi and DDD cut more than 100 the first day. They aren't far behind Phi Mu in numbers so that makes no sense.

It does not necessarily make these 3 better, and certainly not a better fit for everyone, but it is extremely hard to get into these 3 houses. They have a limited number of spots for girls that they didn't already know going into rush. And if you're from MS or Memphis you will already know one if you're getting in, very few exceptions. These 3 sororities cut over half of the girls going through rush the first round. And from there they cut half of the ones they still have on their lists during round two. They bring about 150 girls to pref and have to bid around 90 of them. It's ruthless.

I didn't know anyone in DG and I'm from Mississippi and I got a bid. After I got in I found out I was on the top of their lists all through rush. It's about the impression you make. They didn't know me at all. Literally not a single person in there knew me or went to highschool with me and they still fought for me. Make an impression.

This is the same person that is always slamming phi mu with non proof that phi mu says anything. Also, even if a phi mu did respond, this girl is perfectly within her rights to defend her sorority. Phi Mu is a top group. Has been for a long time!

honestly (not trying to start rumors, it's fact and most people already know), but I know of at least two "top tiers" that have their advisors pick the PNM's they want aka the actives hardly get any say. With that being said, and having a bunch of old ladies choose who will be in their sorority, they will cut the majority of people that are not from the area or don't know anyone the first day.
That being said, the "middle" and "lower" tier sororities aren't much different aside from the fact that their advisors aren't as involved in the selection process and they will leave their options a little more open to girls they know nothing about. Again, not trying to start rumors, but just a known fact, ADPi and Zeta probably won't cut as many on the first day because they need more girls. Not saying that in spite of them just the truth. Everyone else will cut at will.
How hard is it to get into one of the sororities that you named? Well, depends on if they like you or not, simple as that. And if they aren't a huge fan of your personality, then they may still take you because of your grades.

You don't make it to pref with a sorority because an advisor wants you! Total lie. If you didn't fit it you were free to cut at any point. unless of course you were cut by all the others and were scared to cut your only shot at a top 4!

Lol no it's not. Pi phi zeta and tri Delt have to take more girls because they have lower return rates. Kd dg chi o and phi mu cut around 500 the first day. The lower houses maybe cut 100
