by: WhoopsJust heard that KD will only give out bids to 3-4 girls per town this year. This will make up for the 12 bids they gave out to one HS last year. I feel bad for the HS girls who have been told they will be kd! Their hope will be let down.

kinda sucks for all the madison girls there are 3 schools in madison that'd be one girl per school.

The only people concerned with KD taking so many girls from one town is the sorority who a few years ago claimed Madison as "their town". Once upon a time this other sorority pledged 7-8 girls from Madison for several years straight. The same group in the past would pledge 5 Columbus girls each year and routinely pledges 7-8 girls from the Coast. They are upset and reacting in a hypocritical way by continually posting about KD making a huge mistake by pledging so many from one town.

The only person who would respond the the original post is a mother that likes to cause trouble. A pnm or an active has a right to ask questions such as the one posted. They have never participated in rush. Dont bring your accusations of "this sorority" or "that sorority" to this very good question. No one has ever claimed that KD was a Madison sorority or any other sorority as a Madison sorority. Or a coast or a Columbus sorority. You've been on this site too many years if you can cite posts from years back.

So you and you 24 year old sisters sit around and discuss Greek life all the time for years and years? And read this site for years and years and discuss which group thinks they dominate a town? What a great way to enjoy the family dinner!

It's very easy to know what went on before we were in college.. especially if your family is Greek. Don't be dumb. Also, certain sororities are known for taking girls from certain high schools. Just like DG takes a lot of girls from Tupelo every year.. And always has.

Huh? Where did I mention posts on Greek Rank from years ago? My comment was based on what I know from my 2 sisters and their friends during their time here. As I said they are fairly recent graduates - 2012 and 2015 - so yeah there are times when we discuss Greek life and how things have changed or not changed.

people from Mississippi think Madison is the "popular" town. Nothing wrong with Madison I have a lot of friends from there but I think they all have a sense of entitlement.

That's why Germantown HS is almost 40% black. Not a white flight at all. Madison has higher home prices to keep "rift raft" out of the city. But, before rush, these same moms write mean hateful negative recommendations about each other and hate on the Germantown girls. At least that's what the gossip around Madison and State is.
