descriptions of "top"

KD: beautiful, athletic, popular, party girls, not involved at all
Chi O: smart, classy, snobby, not always attractive, have a few closeted wild girls
DG: competitive, involved, a bit wild, disliked as a whole by the rest of greek row because of their refusal to take part in a lot of greek unity things
Phi Mu: peppy, pretty, cheerleader, not intellectuals, wild
overall the moral of this story is that all of the "top" houses have different things that make them unique whether they be good or bad but in general, every sorority has girls that go out a lot, girls that get 4.0's, girls that are completely uninvolved and girls that do everything.

I feel like KD doesn't get enough credit for all of the things that they do! They are involved all over campus and do a lot of philanthropic work. Not saying that they do more than other groups but they try hard to participate in all areas!

It's an old insult from when sororities decided to run 1 girl per sorority for homecoming and DG kept running their own girls. That is literally the only thing DG does on their own. Some houses say this means they don't support greek unity, which is obviously a myth considering those same girls bash DG and write crap on this website.

Hmmm. You need to Google Order of Omega... it is not a scholastic honorary. Members are selected based on involvement. Now, Phi Mu does have some very smart members BUT their past President was removed from office because she did not have the grades. That is not a good look for any any sorority.

I don't think the so called "top" houses deserve to have their standing if they are foolish enough to argue about their status so much. Who cares if someone says your house is a specific rank? If you truly love your home then you will not care one bit. EVERY sorority is amazing in its own way.

My guess is they are referring to few senators which seems to be the most visible form of involvement not competitions. People tend to forget there are Roadrunners, Diamond Girls, Fashion Board, Alumni Delegates, Orientation Leaders, etc. Fashion Board has more KDs than any other group with quite a few as Diamond Girls and Roadrunners with at least one OL. KD is just as involved as Phi Mu and DG but a little less than Chi O.
