What are these sororities looking for in girls they hand out bids to?

Grades and involvement are the biggest thing. Connections are also super important but it's possible to get into any house without knowing someone. Rec letters and looks help, but not as operant on as grades/involvement

All sororities look for the same thing in PNMs: great grades and strong involvement. IMO what differs with some sororities is in house is connections. If you have two girls with the same GPA and involvement but one is from a hometown with several in house members and the other doesn't know any in house members then the 1st one has a much bigger chance of getting a bid. This same rule applies to every house not just Chi O and DG. There are members in all houses with very comparable resumes.

Or it could be the opposite. Lots of times knowing girls in the house hurt girls more than help them!
