No sees Phi Mu as a top 3 house at MSU. They have sweet girls mixed in with many party girls. Campus involvement was better and they actually had members on the Homecoming Court for the first time in years. Phi Mu had a good year but aren't top 3.

I love reading the idiotic comments on here. Lord people will say anything. On pref night 5 years ago I went to phi mu and another house. Although i ended up not picking phi mu, they were great and still are. Very pretty, extreme talent, and decent grades make up the sorority. It was a tough decision but I felt better somewhere else. I think phi mu is a top house, but then again, all of the sororities at state have great qualities about them! People that write mean crap on here are just pissy because they got dropped from that house or they secretly want to be in it. Come on ladies let's stay classy!

Phi Mu has all of the qualifications that make a top house? Retention of members - they only have 35 members left from each of the 2009 and 2010 pledge classes (yet to see how many of the 2011 class return). They are 4th in grades. First representatives on homecoming court in 3 years. First Miss MSU in many years. Did not make quota in 2010 (not be choice either). They are pretty and that is about it other than knowing how to party. These things DO NOT make a top house.

fun and cute girls. They had a good recruitment in 2011 so we shall see how they do in 2012. They also won some elections on campus. I like them but they need to figure out a way to improve their retention rate.

super fun and cute...love these girls. Can't give them all 5's until their retention rate is better though. They did have a good 2011 recruitment though.

Having so many girls drop early and not making quota is huge. If you don't see that than you don't understand the Greek system. There is without a doubt not a jealous bone in my body!! Phi Mu was 4th on all of my lists during rush. Phi Mu is getting a lot of negative comments because its younger members actually think they are a top 2 group. They have had a good year but it is the first in many years. They are also not respected as a whole due to having so many wild members!

Phi Mu's retention rate for the past three years (losing at least 35% of each pledge class) and not making quota in 2010 clearly shows that a lot of people don't want to be Phi Mu's. Phi Mu had a good year, but one year does not make a sorority at MSU great. A top sorority is built on years (if not decades) of strong involvement on campus, retention of members, and strong grades. It also helps to show a little humility and class.

is 4th on campus, not top three. I'd be interested to see which of the true top three KD, Chi O and DG you would replace.
