Great sorority with great campus involvement, proven when they won Chi Omega's Limelight and Zeta's Think Pink week. Always a fun group of girls to be around!

Phi Mu is a mid-tier sorority and is considered as such by everyone on campus except Phi Mu and the one fraternity. Contrary to comments not all Phi Mu's are beautiful. Grades are decent but not top 3 grades. A few leaders on campus but their leaders cannot compare to other groups. They have a VERY hard time keeping members and always have internal issues and in house jealousy. Top groups are diverse, Phi Mu is a cookie cutter group.

The Phi Mu's at State have a reputation of being the most beautiful, social and fun group on campus. They also have a very close chapter and their sisterhood is excellent. They are talented, intelligent (yes, it's true!) and have a lot of members that are leaders on campus. They do NOT deserve to be ranked middle tier and are not a middle tier house.

Phi Mu has difficulty keeping members for some reason which makes them 4th in size (size of chapter does matter). Their GPA is good but 4th overall. Phi Mu is involved but not as involved as the other bigger groups in other campus organizations. There are a lot of sweet girls but they are also known as a party sorority. Phi Mu tends to pledge a lot of girls from the same high schools/towns so if everyone from your town is a Phi Mu of course you think they are a top group. Most see them 4th.

Different hometowns believe different sororities are the best, you have to go one certain sorority because their the best and it will be a totally different sorority for another hometown. It happens at every college, whether you are out of state or not. Some sororities have an off year or two and then are the " best",every Greek group goes through different types of changes- not saying that it's Phi Mu or any certain sorority here. as long as your friends are happy where they are isall Matters

I did not go to State, but several of my best friends went through Rush there. I will tell you what the big thought was before Rush: Phi Mu was best. All of my friends wanted to go Phi Mu. One of my friends suicided Phi Mu. I heard they were very selective and hard to get in because they only took the best of the best. Remember, this was the reputation I heard. These comments seem to say otherwise. So either they are just good at PR, or there is some major jealousy here. Thoughts?

When most people talk about sorority involvement, they are referring to involvement in Campus organizations:Diamond Girl, Freshman Forum, SA, honoraries, etc. Phi Mu is less involved than other groups. Involvement has nothing to do with winning a couple of competitions.
