Not very accepting. Pretty much only take in state girls and legacies. They only care about GPA and making sure people know they are the top. Pretty superficial.

Known for a high GPA and that’s really it. They only hang out with each other. If you aren’t on exec or popular within the chapter you are bullied and it’s hard to make friends within the chapter.

Known for having the highest GPA. That’s all they strive for at rush. Kind of rigid. Not known for looks or being the friendliest either. Not even considered one of the fun sororities. So if you’re looking to be in a top sorority based on a high gpa alone then go Chi O

All these comments talk about just how smart chi o’s are, but the ones I went to college with are FUN!! They don’t get enough credit for how well they balance everything. They are very smart and driven in academics and involvement, but also have a good time on the weekends with each other. I wasn’t in a sorority, but if I was I definitely would’ve gone Chi O!

When I went through recruitment all I heard was how you had to have perfect grades, a rich family, and be a legacy to get into chi o. Going in it was my top and coming out it was my least favorite. They didn’t seem to actually care about what I was saying when we talked. Glad they cut me tbh

Don’t understand the hype. Everyone I know who is in chi o just complains about it and always talk about wanting to drop.

I was in this chapter and hated it. Everyone is so mean and if you don’t kiss up to advisors you aren’t heard or cared about. Everything is a popularity contest and you will be talked about if you don’t conform to everything they want you to do. DO NOT GO CHI O

Trying not to be negative but reading the post below, I have to say that all of the "top" sororities slaughter the first day and have to cut tons of girls, not just Chi O. And for sure, people cut Chi O! That is a silly thing to say - I know legacies who did not even go Chi o! But, overall, a very good sorority with lots of great girls. Very involved on campus, very smart, very studious and put grades above social life, which attracts many people. Overall, nothing bad to say - just wanted to correct the last post!

Chi O is definitely at the top but that’s really just because they only pick girls based of gpa. Not very accepting at all.
