Obviously a few people here have a personal issue with this house. Chi O has been #1 at MSU for decades, and everyone knows why.

To be initiated you have to lay in a coffin beneath the chi o house...

No they don't. The Chi O's have a real owl in a cage making hooting noises during their initiation. And the "coffin" reference has to do with the new initiate lying down face up on the floor while different actives assigned to them shake a twin sheet with flowers, etc. over them, while chanting in Greek. The coffin thing is an old wives' tale.

Who comes up with this stuff? This is not Twilight or Harry Potter! No real owls and no coffins!

They are top tier and great girls but most of my friends in chi o would rather sit at home than go to ANYTHING chi o related. Chi o, like others, claim to make everything so much fun but once you pledge they forget all about you. A lot of the freshman want to drop but are too scared and a lot of upperclassmen feel the same way. Understandable and I'm sure many other top tier sororities have the same problems. Love the chi os that like to have a good time. But most are lame tbh

There is a reason chi omega is the only sorority with a 100% return rate the first two days of rush. Period.

I know a lot of girls in many sororities. Chi O's are fun, pretty and intelligent. It seems to me that most of the other sororities are jealous of Chi O ,but Chi O,s are confident in just being who they are.... Smart, confident, pretty and involved. It seems to reason that they are the best sorority on campus

Chi O has a great standing at State. They believe they are the best so everyone else does too. I know some Chi Os I like, and others that I don't. But isn't that the case in life? You will like some people but not others. Anyway, as I said, Chi O is definitely "top tier", but they are very stuck up about who they will have swaps with or hang out with in general. They are very involved on campus and are a strong sisterhood.
