fraternity events

When fraternities have events, are they mostly open to all girls, only with a particular sorority, or do you have to be invited as a date? Like I've heard of fraternities on row having themed parties, wine nights, tailgates etc. Is anyone welcome to go to these or do you have to be invited?

Some are private with a sorority, some you must be invited as a date, others are open, and you can usually go if you are friends with people in that fraternity. It really just depends on the event.
