new sorority

by: Transfer

Hi! I am thinking of transferring to GSU and want to start a new sorority. Will people be open to this? I am going to need help from current Greeks because I don't know anything about how your system works. I go to a very small school with 4 sororities and 4 fraternities. If anyone is interested in talking to me about it now, I would appreciate it. I can post my email later if necessary.
Thank you in advance!

My boyfriend sure things so. He'll be moving with me, so you can ask him
But it is irrelevant. At my school, our chapter is the hotest out of the four.

People will be open to new sororities , big time. DphiE is thriving and already have enough money for a legit house and they just got to campus 3 years ago. You will have a little bit of competition because your new and won't have a house but you will be able to rush a ton of girls pretty easily. I think dphie' first pledge class was like 60 girls or something. They're out there. Also, Get in touch with the Georgia southern Greek life office.
As a guy in a fraternity, I can attest to the fact that we need more sororities here.

PHA chooses which sororities come to our campus, not students. They are already opening up for a new sorority within the next two years. Three-ish organizations will present and greek life will choose one. After they choose all PHA chapters will vote on if they accept a new organization. Last semester all of the sororities votes to extend a new invitation to a new chapter so it's definitely happening. Probably gonna be Chi O because they were here before and they already own land. The Greek Life office wants a sorority that will be succesful
