I am a senior in high school and I am really interested in going to Georgia Southern next year! I struggled with medical issues in the middle of sophomore year through the end of my junior year. As of right now, my gpa has gone below the required 2.75 for recruitment. So if I end up getting accepted to GSU, is it possible to still join a sorority/get a bid? How competitive is greek here?

A lot of houses won't take you if your not above a 2.75. you'll make the cut but id work on that GPA if possible

Let's keep it real here. Unless you have a ton of money or a good family name, you won't get a bid, at least not from any of the top tier houses.

You probs won't get a bid at all... Grades are a huge standing point and we take pride in them

If you work hard on your grades you can bring that GPA up to a 3 or 2.9 and things will look better
