So what can you do to prepare for rush at gsu specifically? What are the girls looking for with new members besides grades and a good personality and how does stuff like reputation come into play?

My question is would an affluent African American georgia native girl have a chance in any chapter besides DPhiE? It seems that most of the panhellenic chapters are all white.

I think anyone who's sororityty can get in Greek life. If your not you can't. Whether your half black doesn't matter if your 100% sororityty,

Okay looks are important but not THAT important. You wanna present yourself with confidence, but trying to be perfect, isn't going to get you into the sorority that you want. BE YOURSELF. as terrible as it sounds, it's 100% true. So many people lose who they are in recruitment because they "Like the idea" of another sorority but when in reality, the sorority just isn't for them. I promise you, you will find that house that fits you if you are yourself, follow the dress code that they send you. a couple casual sundresses, a a pair of class shorts for the T-Shirt Day, and a nice dress for pref day. No Heels (you will regret it) so buy some nice sandels. and I can't stress enough about being yourself. Its crazy seeing how much the whole thing actually works out. Take my personal experience as an advice, I went through recruitment wanting another sorority, and I noticed, in the house I wasnt FULLY comfortable with the girls, but i didn't truly notice it till after recruitment when I landed in a house i didnt expect. The house that I wanted, only wanted me for what I had to offer, which was all of the high school success I had. Heck I was prom queen in high school, captain of the cheerleading team and then when the last day I got dropped, i was devastaed. and took a chance in the new house i am in now, and honestly it was the best decision i have eve made. This house i was comfortable in during recruitment, and the others i wasnt. If you are stressed, tha is NOT the house you are
