PNMs can do their selections but if a sorority doesnt invite them back then that sorority is off their list. If a PNM doesnt like the sororities who asked them back they can drop.

Is it possible to get dropped after pref day if you still had 2 houses to visit?

it is rare to get cut after pref.

That's not how it works! You rank your choices after a set of parties but you never get to cut. If a sorority you weren't fond of shows up on your party list again, you have to go to their party.

A PNM can say their preferences but it is still up to the sorority to invite them back. A PNM can drop out of rush if they dont like the ones who asked.them back
