spring rush and cob

by: GSU Chick

I went through formal rush but withdrew at the end of the week with only one sorority invite for pref. I didn’t feel like i would be at home with that sorority and was worried about their financial stability since I’m having to pay for a sorority myself.

So I have a couple of questions. How does Spring Rush work exactly? Do you get an invite for Spring Rush? Also- i had several rec letters for each house on row... except the one sorority i didn’t feel at home with (mentioned above) how do rec letters work and will they still stand for Spring Rush or do i need to ask for new ones? Do rec letters even help? Just wondering because i had a lot for fall.

Thanks to anybody that can help answer my questions honestly and without snarky answers so I can make a decision on whether it’s even worth going through the whole process again.

Yes- i will admit- fall Rush was a bummer for me and I thought i did good... i wasn’t even hoping for a top house just a solid one. Just trying to make up my mind.

Thanks

I think knowing current members is more important than a rec letter. Take this opportunity to get to know some of them before spring rush.
